Breakaway is a medical research group and facility specializing in all phases of clinical trials, Phase I-IV. We have an overnight Phase 1 study suite.

Breakaway also can also provide boutique consulting and research management services for the biomedical industry with our experienced leadership team savvy to the unique regulatory and program management needs of startup and growth companies. Examples include business incubation, non-dilutive funding securement, regulatory and clinical affairs management, and site management and contract research organization (SMO and CRO) services scaled to the needs of emerging companies. Our leadership has managed the entire innovation, funding, FDA, and commercialization life cycle and would love to help advance your breakthrough.

We conduct clinical studies to help develop treatments that make life better for our patients.

We see patients every day – for everything from athlete’s foot to cosmetics – and chances are we’re their last hope. Maybe they’ve already tried everything else, or simply can’t afford treatment.

Many people on our team are drawn to clinical research after a friend or family member faced an illness for which no marketed medication was available or adequate.

While we always hope studies help our patients, we fully understand that there may be no benefit to our patient. However, this research may help those who suffer in the future.
